I have read most folks in the consciousness and psychology area (i.e., Tom Campbell, David R, Hawkins, Maxwell Maltz, etc. etc), so I do feel that I know something on the subject! with that, I would say that Lee's short book is as good as or better than anything I have read.About the Author|Leland Johnston, M.D., lives with his family in Boulder, Colorado. He practices and teaches child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and psychoanalysis.
Autobiography of Self by Nobody presents insights about the self and ego informed by physics, neurobiology, and developmental research. The actual practice of either a spiritual or psychological tradition can use the qualifications of self and ego in this book to gain an integrated perspective. The aim here is to simply describe the reality that we live each moment, every day.
